2021 GRANTS

FIELDS OF FUNDING

Education and Economic Self-Sufficiency • Health and Well-Being • Food Security and Housing • Youth Development • Childcare

$250,000

For 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Women’s Fund modified its application process. Historically, we have focused on financially supporting highly effective nonprofit programs to support and educate women and girls. This year we offered 1-year, unrestricted grants of up to $10,000 to Essex County nonprofit organizations addressing the significant needs and impacts of COVID-19 and/or societal inequities as they relate to women and girls.

The following organizations were awarded one-time unrestricted grants to assist them through the COVID-19 pandemic. Each applicant was thoroughly vetted by our Grants Allocation Committee. Removing the restrictions from the grants, it is our hope that these funds will primarily help women and girls in Essex County.
